Privacy policy
SiLA 2 Studio is operated by QPillars GmbH (Zürich, Switzerland). This policy describes what we collect when you use sila2.qpillars.com, why, and how long we keep it.
What we keep, briefly
- Your uploaded OpenAPI spec - on our storage for 24 hours, then deleted.
- The generated driver bundle - same: 24 hours, then deleted.
- If you submit the email gate: your name, work email, company - sent once to the QPillars team inbox, not stored in any database on our side.
- Standard Cloud Run access logs (IP, user agent, request path) - rotating ~30 days.
What we don't do
- No third-party analytics, ad tracking, or session recording.
- No cookies beyond the strictly-necessary Next.js framework cookies.
- No training of AI models on your spec or bundle contents.
- No sharing of your data with any third party except hosting infrastructure (Google Cloud, EU region) and our transactional email provider (Resend).
Spec contents - the most important section
Your OpenAPI spec may describe internal services, contain API paths, or include operation IDs that are sensitive in your context. We treat the spec as confidential. Specifically:
- The bytes you upload are written once to private Google Cloud Storage in europe-west6.
- Access requires a short-lived signed URL we hand back to your browser.
- The bucket has a 24-hour lifecycle policy. There is no manual override that keeps your spec longer than 24 hours.
- Spec contents are never written to application logs.
Lead capture and email
Submitting the email form before download sends a one-time message to the QPillars team (typically sila2@qpillars.com) via Resend. The lead contents (name, work email, company, the generated bundle id) are not stored in any database on our side and are never used for marketing without your explicit opt-in on the form.
If you opted in to product updates, we'll add you to our newsletter list at Resend; you can unsubscribe with one click from any email.
Your rights (GDPR)
Since we don't store your data beyond 24h-deletion windows and an opt-in newsletter list, requests are simple:
- Delete me from the newsletter: click unsubscribe in any email, or write to info@qpillars.com.
- Delete an in-flight spec/bundle: wait 24h, or write to us with the spec id and we'll wipe it immediately.
- Access / portability: we don't hold a profile we could export. Lead emails sent are in your own inbox already (reply-to was you).
